I am a fan of vanilla cake, or marble cake....oh gosh, so many choices!!!

I'm tearing up a little bit. That was so random and it caught me off guard. I think that is a big part of the humor in it. I really think Dr. AC should do stand-up comedy or act or something. Think of it! She could start a multi-million dollar business selling DVDs of english lessons in comedic style.

07:13 am: Hunger.
I am trying to focus on Trifles, but oh man my stomach is twisting and turning. I need food. Kolaches or donuts or any sustenance sounds good right now. Too bad we aren't having our party today. I am excited for that party. I wonder if I will remember to bring a cake. Maybe it is too early to eat cake at 7:00am.

07:25 am: Movies. Movies. Movies.
Upcoming movies:

Spiderman 3.
Shrek 3.
Pirates 3.
Harry Potter 5.

I want to see Pirates 3 at the midnight showing again, but I have state for choir that weekend, so I think I will be seeing it Friday night instead, down in Austin.

I am definitely planning on going to the midnight showing of the next Harry Potter movie. That will be a lot of fun. I know I am a nerd, but at least I am entertaining.

Which movie are y'all most interested in seeing?

07:19 am: Weird reminders.
So, talking about 24 in class made me think of the return of Heroes last night! Oh. Man. I love that show and there are only four episodes left. Next week they are going to have an episode that is four years in the future. That will be absolutely crazy. I love how all of the plots are intertwined. The writers of this show are GENIUS.

Does anyone else watch this show?

07:38 am: Stranger than Fiction.
Oh man, Nicole's post reminded me that we may or may not be watching Stranger than Fiction in a week or two! How exciting! I really hope we watch that instead of Amelie (or however the heck you spell it). I love Will Ferrell! He was hilarious in Anchorman! I could quote that movie for ages. My favorite character from it, however, is Brick. I think it is funny when he asks the girl if she would like to attend the pants party. Great stuff. Yeeeah, so Stranger than Fiction, anyone?

07:31 am: Oedipus...again.
When I was in Octathlon back in the day (sophomore year) we read Oedipus and I am actual pretty thankful we are reading it again. I really do enjoy this play, it is one of Sophocles' that I actually like and can bypass the language on. There is so much intertwining story lines and I love all that jazz. That is probably why I like mysteries so much. Oedipus, however, does take his misery a little too far when he stabs his eyes out...that is just too much for me. I guess you have to have a little sympathy for the guy, he places a plague on his whole town without even knowing it.

07:22 am: Sigh. Of. Relief.
Its done! Its done! That god forsaken paper is on top of Dr. AC's desk and I do not have to think about it ever again! Praise the lord!

Doing Dr. AC's evaluation really got me thinking about how the semester is coming to an end. We have 6 weeks of high school left and 5 if you do not count any exams at the end...I better be exempt.

Anywho, back to class-related subjects. I really have enjoyed this semester ESPECIALLY compared to 1301 with Baxter...that class was a waste of time. I do not know how I found the motivation to go to class every other day. This semester was so much different. I actually enjoy coming to class and participating in the discussions.

Well, I think it is time to end my gushiness. See you guys on Tuesday!

At approximately 8:30pm on Wednesday, April 18th I finally turned in my research paper.

It is such a relief to get that thing over with! Can you believe that was our last paper of the semester (besides the final, of course?)

We are almost done, seniors. We are almost done!
